Hi guys,

First of all thank you for a really good worlk developing Pictomio and PictoGeo.

I just got my GPS data logger and after a couple of tests I realize that in some points the trip reflects spurious positions (I guess due to lack of proper GPS coverage, such as indoor places, highway tunnels, etc.). I fully understand that's a hardware limitation and I will have to live with it, but I guess it would be nice if we were allowed to fixed those errors in PictoGeo.

I was wandering about the application and found the Beautify Trip button. I tried to use it but when I click it it onlys ask to save changes, but I can't do anything. I searched the help area and found nothing either on the Beatify Trip button nor on how modify the trips.

Could you please tell me if it's possible to modify the trips and what's the purpose of the Beautify Trip button?

Thanks in advance

Javi

Hi ashltd,

the beautify trip function should automatically correct your trip but if the algorithm can't find your wrong trackpoints the only possibility would be to edit the .nmea file in a texteditor and reimport it.

Kind regards

Hi Bleker,

Thanks a lot for your quick response.

I guess I can find the .nmea file at the Trips folder on my local filesystem.

Hi ashltd,

if you didn't changed the default import options the .nmea file can be found in your own documents folder.
In my case it is C:\Users\bleker\Documents\Pictomio\Trips (underVista).

Kind regards
