If I read out a trip from the data logger and automatically assign and tag the pictures, the GPS coordinates are set (good!). But the GPS altutude (in meters) is not set although the information seem to be present in the nmea file.
It would great for me to have this feature happy

Hi muxu,

thank you for posting. I've put your suggestion on our feature requests list and after a short first check it seems to be very easy to implement so that the chances for an implementation in the next release are very good blink

Kind regards

Is there any update on the "missing" altitude EXIF information?

I downloaded Pictomio v1.2.29.0 today (2009-08-03), loaded the pictoGEO-sample-trip.zip, and checked what sort of info is added to the images after import. As was mentioned on the web site, GPS info on longitude and latitude are added in the EXIF of the "changed" images. Alas no altitude information... yet?

Test: When you view the trip (Map tab), and mouse-over any of the images the pop-up windows shows the altitude, the EXIF Data tab (opens up on the right side of the screen), does not show the info under GPS attributes.

The altitude information is probably still on the todo list? Or is this a problem with the way I am presently using Pictomio?

Thanks.
